Videomeetings

On Wednesday 10th June 2015 we met on our last videomeeting. Speaking Georgian was a huge challenge for Polish students. And speaking Polish was a challenge for Georgian students as well. All managed very well and had fun. Exchanging information about holidays in our countries caused discussion among Polish students.

On 3rd June 2015 we met on Skype sharing some information about each other and what we have learned, found out and liked in our project. I think for all of us it was a great experience. Szymon made Georgian dessert pelamushi, Wiktoria and Michał made gozinaki - we all could taste them. They are dilicious!!! After the meeting we in Dzierżoniów started learning Georgian - that is an experience!!! We listened to Georgian alphabet and started writing the letters in a notebook Polish children start writing first letters. During next videomeeting we will teach the pronunciation of our languages from each other.

The second video meeting was unforgettable for Georgian students. They were able to communicate with Polish students in English and in Polish, as some of them learnt a few phrases in Polish. They were glad to see Georgian national sweets made by Polish students. They decided to cook Polish dishes at home as we already had the recipes from them.

On 10th March 2015 we met online for the first time. Students exchanged information about their schools. It appeared we have a lot of similarities in our schools. Polish students are surprised their Georgian friends do not have to pass final exams at primary school.

Georgian students were very happy to meet Polish friends and hear about their school life. Despite the internet connection problems we managed to communicate. The students are looking forward to the next meeting.
