On 21st April 2015 we had a special guest at our school in Dzierżoniów - Jarosław Kresa, the author of a book about Valerian Tevzadze "Tevzadze - Georgian defender of Warsaw". He told us about Georgian contract officers in Poland. In details he told us about Valerian Tevzadze's life. He also brought some souvenirs from Georgia and told us about hospitable Georgian people he met during his visit in this country. We also found out that some Valerian Tevzadze's relatives are in touch with Mr Kresa.
Meeting with Romanoz Peradze in Tbilisi School 207
On the 26th March we had a meeting with Romanoz Peradze, the nephew of St Grigol Peradze, who lived and died in Poland during the war. He showed the students a documentary about his life, told us about Grigol Peradzes life in Georgia from childhood to his death, showed some unique photoes. The meeting was unforgettable for Georgian students.
Meeting with Ambrosi Grishikashvili
On the 12th March the students of Tbilisi school 207 had a meeting with the author of the books "Georgians in Poland" and "Saint and Scientist". He brought his books to school and presented them to our library. He asked the students a few questions what they knew about Georgian - Polish relationship and added valuable information about the period when Valerian Tevzadze lived in Georgia and then in Poland. He spoke not only about Valerian Tevzadze, but also about other contract officers who were forced to live their country in 1921-22 and move to Poland and other European countries. He also told the students about Poland, its brave history, beautiful nature and hospitable people.
